Do HTML errors is problem for search Engines?

My sites has some HTML errors. Is that a problem for search Engine crawling or ranking?

Google itself contains 50 errors... it is good to fix them but most errors should not affect the SERP.

Oh right, I wasnt thinking WC3 standard. I was thinking more basic, logical code.

 

Google generally don't care about them but they are important for msn , it is better to correct them.

 

Not a subject to get you worried about but it always better to get it done the right way to avoid any adverse affects by any chance.
