Homemade as in ordinary paper, Microsoft publisher produced flyers. To stick anywhere e.g. on cars, give to people etc. Do these flyers work, or would I HAVE to get them made professionally? Does it matter? Thanks.
I actually kind of think snail mail and flyers work better now than they have in a long time -- simply b/c they're not as common place (and annoying) as they used to be. There is so much competition for online attention, using a flyer under the windshield now gets my attention every time. Still creeps me out that someone touched my wiper blade when I wasn't looking though. =/ Good luck!!
it all depend on what you trying to promote . if you are a home baker who is trying to sell some cupcake , , hand made flyer would work really well , but if you are trying to promote a professional service of some kind . maybe is worth investing a few dollar to get it look more professional . if you need any serious advice you can look me up on my thread
First of all bear in mind that "homemade flyers" are better than "no flyers at all"! If you got at least homemade flyers you have more possibilities to get customers and earn some money. According my opinion the most important is what you plan to offer on this flyer. If you have a good deal you have possibilities to get customers even with a simple b&w flyer. If you offer a bad deal even if you have the best designed flyer you can't get clients.
I've had luck posting flyers will pull off tabs at the bottom on public bulletion boards at laundromats, grocery stores, and especially at local colleges.
That depends of what you're trying to promote. Offering Professional services may require professional flyers. But at the end it doesn't matter how these flyers looks but what it's the offer on these flyers. Try to be clear about your offer and use some kind of "special deal", "special discount", etc. to get clients attention on the deal instead the flyer design.
