When Google ranks your page for a certain keyword, does a higher alexa rank give you an advantage over other sites?
Google cares a damn for any other ranking service... It relies wholly and fully on just its own algorithms... Regards, RightMan
No I don't think so. they have their own algorithm of doing it. That's why some of the highly ranked (Alexa) sites have no PR. Google do it according to their own method.
why should Google rely on Alexa? once you put Adsense code on a site, the code passes all essential user information to Google. this data is much more accurate compared to the data collected by Alexa.
I really dont think alexa is meant for something, alexa is really low credibilty and more low credibilty with day more day "this real traffic tracker tools for public"is actually easy to cheat, just pay $100 at paid to click program similar to neobux, you got hundred of clicks and as return alexa track that as "natural traffic record"
I have wondered if Google takes Alexa ranks into account The algorithm is complex ( and constantly changing in search of relevancy and to keep us on our toes) What Google is after most is relevancy and good results for those using its search service It would be somewhat foolish if Google did not include or at least have a check of results against other good proof sources - in which case Alexa rankings would fit
Hoh...what a not to good question. The answer is OFCOURSE NOT. Btw alexa only cater for those who have the alexa plugin install...and is not a real tool to cater for a website popularity.
