Does the pagerank you get ever change, or are you gratefully stuck with whatever ranking Google first gives you. Please believe when I say I am grateful for the ranking just want to know if it changes.:)

Yes it changes depending on the backlinks you get from update - update. If you look at the PageRank threads on here you will see everyone stating how their PageRank had changed, some good and some bad.

Not really strange, just that is still happening and nobody outside of Google knows how they are working it.

TS, thanks for your response, I did read a few posts but assumed they were like me, so many pages on the site I tend to discover the pageranking by accident, actually I just noticed a rank on my new blog and realized they made changes but nothing happened to the old ones so I had to ask.

    Thanks for answering the question

    No Probs.

I'll add when checking your PageRank use a tool like http://livepr.raketforskning.com/ - it gives you a better picture of how your PageRank looks across a number of Google Data Centre's.

ofcourse it changes < moves up or down > depending on the backlinks .
Might sound weird but Page Rank isnt that important unless you are into link selling biz :) :)

I checked your site www.zihh.com . A little slow loading but don't think would be the problem. Chances are to jump to a PR4 with this update. Ever had any other PR or PR0 till now ?

As far as I know, Google Pagerank update happens on a regular basis and it's the Toolbar update that updates after every 3-4 months.
