You can rest assured they log your IP, browser, OS and time off access. What page you looked at and where you came from (referer).

Does anyone for sure know that google logs this information? I would think that would be too much information to log.

Probably, the IPs are important to them, after all they have that geo targeting system, which receives the needed data from the IPs.

Google logs everything from IP to the ads you click to detect fraud click.

I bet they do keep all the logs. Data storage space is cheap these days. ;) Analyzing it all, on the other hand, must be a real challenge.

There's no reason why Google doesn't record the IP. IP is very helpful to track visitors.

Walmart keeps every transaction forever why would google not keep the same. Data in on the internet is like gold in the real word you can never have to much. if you know how to analyze it you can find anything you want to know about a user.

Most do not know it but walmart has the largest data center in the world 200 TB's Last I seen I print

200tb of data isnt the worlds largest data center. It wouldnt surprise me at all if there was even privatly owned larger data collections.

In terms of computers I think Google is the leader? Estimate is that they have around 100k "computers".

I'm sure Google keeps absolutely everything on you and anyone that visits your site...remember Google is Big Brother, they want to know what you're up to.

Is it possible for Google to track you? A javascript application loading on another site will show that site's server as the referrer. Google wouldn't have access to who the individual surfer was if they didn't click. Now Google is a lot smarter than I am, but I don't know of a way for them to track users who view, but don't click ads.

Sometimes I really want to click an ad I see on my own site, but I get scared to because I don't want to commit click-fraud... any way to do that?

Sure, just mouse-over the add, remember the URL for it, then type it into a separate browser window. I've actually been interested in quite a few of the adds on my own sites as well. Ironically I once bought something from one of the advertisers, but I wasn't allowed to do it through the add. Too bad, I could have used that extra 20 cents :)

I heard G doesn't actually ever delete anything, including tracks to and from sites. It must be interesting HQ stats to see just how many times users 'do or do-not' click on their ads, or if indeed its a robot visit. They probably use this information to fine tune their TOS, Adsense code and various algo's.
