If there an option to get banned for low CTR, in a claim the clicks are at very low rate or anything similar? Thanks
I don't think so. CTRs are declining any way because more and more people are becoming web savvy and they recognize an ad, even if it a text ad. As the banner ad CTR declined before the text ad picked it up, I do believe text ad CTR will also decline and than stabilize at around 1%.
Yesterday I had a 0.75% CTR , so I was wondering if it will keep going that way (although I'll try to raise it), can it be a problem with adsense TOS or anything...
No you can't get banned for having a low CTR. My CTR sucks on most of my website but that doesn't mean I will get banned. That just means I will not get paid unless I get clicks. It doesn't hurt the advertisers at all to have a low CTR because they don't pay unless their ads get clicks on. So it is all good However for you it would be great to try and increase your CTR so you can make more money.
google would be nuts to ban someone for low ctr , there must be lot of adsense publishers who give up on adsense with few dollors in their account , why would google mind all that money. moreover they understand that it may take time for some publishers to start earning .
Google only bans for excessive false clicks, clicking own ads, telling people to click ads, to small of a site, not enough content, and the other random things on the TOS Nope, low CTR not on the list
some time ago, if you received a lot of traffic from Stumble and with a CTR lower than 1% then they may have banned you for false impressions, but everything is ok now.
They will smartprice you if your site does not convert well for the advertisers. And "no". Low ctr doesn't harm your site.
