Do Google Adword's links count as backlinks?

    If I sign onto Google Adwords, and my ads are on 100's of websites --- do those count as backlinks as well?

    They are generated by javascript, spiders can't read javascript.

    As said before, the answer is no since the ad's are served in javascript which the SE's robots cannot follow and therefore cannot give you link juice.

    they only help in branding not in pagerank.
