Do goal results appear immediately?

    I've just added a new goal for a client. Can that goal be backdated on past data or will goals only be counted on new visitors?

    They appear about as immediately as any other stats do in Google Analytics.

    It doesn't seem to backdate the results for some reason????

    yes, it show back result but after that it will show accurate result
