I have seen some Forum Posting programs on the market and wonder do they work, or get you banned? Does anyone know a good one? Does it work for Clickbank affiliates?

    Thanks,

There are entire online businesses which depend solely on forum posting.

While it works, you must be very careful in choosing. In a recent CB book, a guy did cover this topic and even named a few. I'll try to find the name and post later.

XRumer is a Windows program that posts forum spam and the aim of the product is to boost search engine rankings. It has been claimed that the program is able to bypass techniques commonly used by many websites to deter automated spam, such as account registration, CAPTCHAs, and e-mail activation before posting. The program makes heavy use of a database of known open proxies in an attempt to make it more difficult for administrators to block posts.

I know Xrumer works. I have a competitor using it in one of my markets and I know the guy must be making a *fortune* with all of the search results he is getting for very high return keywords (think "buy expensive thing.")

I'm not comfortable going down that road or I'd buy it too. I know it works - but I'm just not willing to do it. I also wouldn't use it to promote CB products - you'll end up getting banned. If you want to take the low road (black hat) then I'd stick to markets where people don't have many rules (ie pharmacy etc)
