Wow. Who knew there were so many? Other than going to each and every link, is there a way to know what each site does and/or who it is for?
Thanks for providing nice collection. Me also looking for dofollow blogs Health niche. Can any one solve my problem
Hello cheburashka maybe I can do a little better than that- watch out for sneaky Seo people who ask you for a link to your blog or website.. It sounds good- you get a back link from their site and they get a back link from your site. This is called reciprocal linking. Fine and good. Everyone knows that the best links are "one way" back links. So they cheat you out of a link. They get a one way back link to their site only. When they exchange a link with you they put some sneaky "no follow" tag into the code. Because the link is "no follow" you do not get a link? "No follow" is telling the search Engine spider bots not to follow the link back to your site. They get a single valuable back link and you get none. The "Do follow" is a script in the code that tells the Google Spider Bots to "Do Follow" the link back to your blog/site and give you a valuable back link. So just be aware when some kind person emails you and says they are willing to swap links with you. Be careful to check the source code for a "do follow" code. It is easy to spot the words. When you get to the page on their site that has your link on it, just click on your drop down menu on the "View" Tab and select "Page source". This will show you all the code for that website. You can then check for your link address in their code and see if it is "do follow". Link exchanges are a good way to get free links to other sites. you can swap links with other websites and blogs to get free back links. However, a good thing to remember when you join link exchanges for free link swapping is watch the "no follow" cheats. A few rules for link exchanges: Is set the rules first- for who links to you. a) All links must be "Do Follow" (obviously) b) All websites that link to you must be in the same niche (If you have a dog training site- they must have a dog related site too- not porn?) c) All links must be live (sometimes they "forget" your link on purpose?) d) All links must be within three pages of the Homepage. (they will bury your link on a page 30 pages deep, that does not get any traffic or eyeballs- the link is also there to get a click for you as well) e) Most important- they may not disconnect your link at anytime without your emailed permission. Sometimes they get even sneakier? they will link up to you with a "do follow" link and you go check it out on their site and its all good. Six weeks later when you have forgotten about the link, they delete your link without you knowing it? They get a one way link again and you miss out! All good, I hope you enjoyed the lessons Phil
Hello Rub3X, find the link below, hope it works http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1703921
that's a long list. Is there a software to submit to those social book marking sites? I'd like to know for sure
Thanks for the answer. That was pretty in depth. Appreciate you taking the time. I'm somewhat new to the technical side of this, but it is starting to click...
BTW, I think the answer is easier than I think, but I'm going to ask anyway. What is the purpuse/use for no follow links? Phil, take it away...
