Yep this is a good way. Once I find its no follow I stop posting. Unless the site is very specific.

I think most of us are using Mozilla Firefox add-on. It is the easy and quick way to check link " nofollow " or " dofollow ".

Press right click on your mouse, choose view source, now check the code. if that link has rel="nofollow" attached or not. if yes, it's nofollow. if not, it's dofollow..

You can check a link as no-follow or do-follow by viewing the source code, just copy your title, open source code of the page and search out your title. If you found rel="nofollow" in your link then it means, the site is providing your the no-follow links and if this is not exists then the link is do-follow. You can check also the page is crawled now by the search engines after checking the robot.txt file placed in the root.

If you are using Mozila firefox then you can find a Addons named nodofollow. Installed it then go to any pages and right click you will see the nodofollow options, select it by left clicking. You may now see blue and red colored selected words. Blue colored selected words are dofollow and red are nodofollow. This is the quickest way to find no or dofollow.

I've always used this site for checking the PR of any domain:

    http://www.prchecker.info/check_page_rank.php

Also keep in mind, it really doesn't matter if the links are "dofollow" or "nofollow", the search engines will still count them as a vote/backlink pointing to your site.
