So looking at some sites I was wondering if the link has to have the dofollow attribute to be a true do follow link?

I know if it has the nofollow attribute then its not a do follow but if it has nothing is it a dofollow?

    Thanks in advance!

There's no such thing as a "do follow" link. Do Follow is a term that bloggers came up with to describe a movement to remove nofollow from blog comment links.

All links by default are followed unless you add rel="nofollow" to them, so if you just structure your links normally they will do what you want them to.

Yep. Do follow is just a lack of nofollow.
