Are dofollow blog comments really effective? I am assuming that the page you would be commenting on would have really low PR even if the blogs homepage is higher. I've heard that hundreds or even thousands of low PR links won't really help. Just curious.
I have some software that finds them for you. Will have a look around for it on my other computer for you. It's free to use, but if you want to see +50 queries for each keyword you would have to go premium. From using it myself I noticed that fewer blogs are allowing dofollow comments these days.
I've never had much success with do follow blogs - it seems like a lot of effort for very little Google juice in return...
I know that narrow down blogs according to their PageRank. Perhaps that would be more useful and effective than simply commenting on low-PR blogs.
Aye, that's the one. You have to remember though that other search engines than Google do count even nofollow links and so with pages of blogs at the ready it aint a bad freebie to use. I noticed as well that even though some dofollow blogs had high PR on their main page, the actual comment field had low PR, even zero. I guess if you can find relevant links - a vote is a vote.
Either googling it or go to the DP search and search for the dofollow blog, sure you can find the list
I will also go with Fast Blog Finder. Here are some more dofollow search engines that you might want to try.
Here are some dofollow blog lists - http://www.webmaster-elements.com/dofollow-lists/dofollow-blogs.htm
I agree, you gotta go for high PR sites w/ IP diversity. Get the Firefox free tool SEOquake to find these sites while browsing. Just turn off the plugin when not using b/c it eats a lot of processing time.
