I have removed the "no follow" tags from my blog www.ncaditya.com I think this will increase traffic, visitors, comments and general interest. What are you opinions? Have you tried removing the tag and observed any changes in traffic, pagerank, etc.? Please offer suggestions. Thanks.
Yes, it will increase comments. But in my experience, doing so encourages more spam comments so you'll will have to moderate your comments with a keener eye. Also, have you looked at the comment luv plugin - it works well to encourage commenting when coupled with nofollow.
Yep I agree with the poster above, but I never tried taking off the nofollow so I have no practical, hands on experience. However it's quite logical that spammers will increase their visits to your blog. Question is, do you want spammers to count as your traffic? To increase traffic, interaction etc. i'll advice you to do three things beside blogging on with heart: install Brian's Threaded Comments install gravatars if your blog is anything different than internet marketing install top commentators widget. I'm pretty confident that they will help significantly help you manage things better and make the comment based interaction with your visitors increase. Best of luck!
