    Don't blogspot link in comments default to nofollow? I believe it's the default for other CMS too.

    Good, I only hope that they are not already spammed. I always prefer investigating each blog before I ask his webmaster for a guest article... It should be relevant...

    Personally I'm against spamming blogs. I know when I get comments on my blogs which are obviously trying to get backlinks then this is very annoying. Besides any decent blog that allows people to comment without being checked will be nofollow. Leaving backlinks on sites like these will eventually result in that blog being penalised by Google and doing more bad than good for a backlink. I would suggest looking into alternative methods to getting backlinks! Look at competitors, for a start. Who are they linking to, and who is link to them?
