"do Follow" blog lists suck - check these queries instead

I've found the list of "do follow" blogs to be repetitive, boring, time consuming and irrelevant.

Plug this search query into google had you'll have far better means of getting one way inbound links to your site:

    --------

ENTER YOUR TARGET KEYWORD "Remember my personal information" "Notify me of follow-up comments"

    --------

so if your site is related to real estate, enter the following into google:

Real estate "Remember my personal information" "Notify me of follow-up comments"

You'll find that on LOADS of the resulting pages allow you to add comments etc. including a link to your site. There's tonnes of PR5 (and higher) links out there.

The only reason I'm sharing this trick is cos I'm half drunk.

Any other similar search queries to share? Go on....

Finally a useful tip. Maybe all DPers should be required to be semi-drunk in order to post.

I personally use a bit of software that automates this process and feeds me with 1000 results arranged by PR + Alexa. Then its the matter of finding the right queries. Anything script specific will do. Eg keyword "powered by pligg", "powered by phplinkdropper" etc

Thanks my good man. Great tip! Worth while DP tips are to good to find. I too have a script designed to automate the process that provides me with a load of prospective sites. The script was provided by yet another great DP member. What ever the future holds I trust all the good working strategies like this won't get plowed under by abuse.

A good tip but many of the listed websites do not permit your URL there (only name and email in the comment box)

But this returns all the blogs... including the nofollow ones, so why would it replace the "dofollow" lists?

Remember not to spam these sites. Keep comments relevant otherwise they'll get moderated out.

Awesome tip! I've found those automated searches give incorrect results time and time again.

    Thanks for sharing :D

The important thing is that the the dofollow blog is at least fairly related to the page on your end. Also, don't make it look like spam.

I use Akismet and manually monitor posts, as many bloggers do, and your comment could be deleted or listed as spam.

Don't waste your time if you're just going to spam.

I really don't get how this replaces dofollow lists. All the blogs is returns are a big mix of nofollow and dofollow (mostly nofollow naturally)

A good tip that will NOT last long if meaningless, one word comments are left. I have seen real "do follow" blogs closing their comment forms one after the other, so please take the time to type a few relevant sentences or nobody will be interested in taking the time to moderate. Worthless comments will be deleted, do follow blogs will close up shop and everybody loses.

Do blogs mind if i post another link in my comment after ive made a solid 3-4 sentences? Or will they moderate these out?
