hmm...what do you mean? That's what the experiment is all about. Update: Btw today I got some PR7s and PR s do-follow blog commenting for my site. In a few days I will adding more articles to update my site. No change in traffic so far and things are same for now. Let's wait and see the results after a week. In the mean time I will slowly build links for my site.
Interesting case study. How do you go about finding the dofollow blogs? Do you use dofollow blog lists which are publicly available or find them manually?
Thats what i was looking for, i just first thought to make a new topic on dp, that IS BLOG COMMENTING worth or not! thats why came in link development section found your Interesting thread, going to subscribe man!
No, I don't use the do-follow list which are publicly released. Cause you'll notice all those blog do moderation thing (which will only delay the case study ) and on those blogs you care not allowed to use anchor text. So, yes I find them manually and then try them and slowly build on my list. Currently I have 40PR4 + 30-35PR5 10-15PR6 and 2-3 PR7 in my list. I update them after each google pr update and fill in with new blogs. Google.com have them all. Thanks a lot bro. I hope this thread is useful cause it's filled with lots of arguments and gossips on do-follow blog commenting. so am I. Let see, there has been a lot of speculation on do-follow blog commenting not working or has less effect on any of the mention aspects.
Commenting on a blog page that has an actual PR may not be of any use if there are few hundreds of backlinks are already from that page. I think google would be certainly considering the number of backlinks from a particular page before passing on the benefits of the PR to the link. So more backlinks from a page will mean less value the backlink eventhough the page may have actual Pr. So its better to get backlinks from from pages that doesn't have a few hundred links coming from it. But at the end of the day a backlink is a backlink. So if there is a way to get a backlink get it. The most important part of getting backlink is building it continuously and making it look natural . Backlinks may not be of any use if you built 10000 backlinks overnight and then do nothing for the next 6 months and again built a few thousand links. So its would be advisable if you can ensure that you built a certain number of backlinks month after month. Also spread the backlinks to the inner pages of your site rather than just building links to the homepage.
Yeah we know all about that. But the last part is what the new guys would keep in mind. As I have already mentioned in the thread I am only building like 3-4 links a day not 1000. So the point you mentioned is quite irrelevant over here. And yes, the blogs I am commenting on usually have only 20-25 comments max on them.
Hi pro.seods i just shared the info i know. i am sorry if it was of no use to you. And wishing you success with your efforts.
Great thread, I'll be tuned in to see your results! It would be interesting to conduct a similar case study with strictly no-follow blog comments...
Seriously? It isn't hard at all with all the software out there. Great case study, keep up the work Loving the updates
Do you think he's an idiot? Yeah, make the list public and watch the dofollow links become nofollow A seo technique becomes useless when the masses find out about it and it get's spammed to death.
One suggestion. Remove the link from your signature and the first post on this thread for a much more accurate result. Your signature link itself is giving you a max of 700 backlinks.
You are right Dude, But may be he is targeting different KP for blog commenting. But this thread can porvide him a lot of benefit in SEO. A do follow forum post with popular thread subscribed by number of guys. Keep going dude good effort.
