Hello, I was wondering if part of Googles formula might be the % of people who visit your site that add it to their favorites list. Sounds like something that would be used to help determine page rank. Anybody know if they do this? Thanks.. I'm learning.
This data is aready being collected by Google...I'm sure they are using it but I'm not sure to what extent....
I have heard top SEO's say they reckon there are over 250 elements that go into ranking a page and website. I don't know about page rank but it must factor to some extent.
Google knows what's in people's google-bookmarks. For niches like webdesign, SEO, computers etc. that's probably a decent measure of popularity already. For other niches, I hope google realizes that the metrics aren't there yet to use this information to organize search.
This is interesting, although I believe the most factors are in this list: http://www.webconfs.com/15-minute-seo.php Some may not be the true..
