do e-books sell? via adwords?

Hi, I see so many sites providing useless e-books etc. I wonder if they sell? Can I sell e-book via adwords and will it be reasonable?

 

I also want to ask is it profitable to use PPC for selling e-book ?

 

There are so many ebooks out there.. free and paid ones.. I guess the paid ones sell if they're written by reputable authors..

What is your ebook about? Is it innovative in anyway? It can sell through adwords depending on the quality of your ebook..

 

its a high quality niche e-book. Original work. And very little competition - so little that I even doubt there is any market for it But as adwords brings highly targeted traffic I though it could work.

 

yes you can make money with your ebook! the trick: give away a certain percent of the booksell and let other people do the advertisment for you. so you only spend money when you really get some - everything else is a kind of gambling

use clickbank, its all e-books basically and everyone who wants to sell e-books is on there. don't for get to put up your landing page and everything first and make sure it looks good enough for people to refer back to you, if you have a horrible looking landing page, a lot of people just tend to stay away.

 

I sold a couple VIA adwords about the Nintendo Wii software and what was inside (I had to take it a part) but it isn't worth it I paid more for advertising than I made.

Landing pages are indeed important. Make it look clean and professional and you won't repulse your visitors.

I agree, CB is a very quick way to get your ebook merchant acount set up and leverage thousands of affiliates.

 

I think Clickbank is for US citizens only. People find workarounds like, post redirection and stuff.

 

1st landing page is very important, 2nd , don't misguide with your ad.

 

yes, misguided ad won't drive real sales I know that, I've experience with adwords.

 

Misguiding is a waste of PPC money.

Using PPC you should filter your traffic as much as possible.

The more the visitor knows about your landing page offer before they click through, the better your conversion rate will be and the more valuable PPC will be for you.

 

It really depends a lot on the ebooks and many things. e-book is a very general term, you should think about it as a solution to somebodies problem(s), asnwers to queston(s).. etc. There is not much difference between selling an ebook or something physical.
If you had in mind selling something that's all over internet with resale rights.. then it doesn't have much value.
Always think of quality and not quantity when it comes to selling ebooks.
