Do dropped domains retain PageRank?

    It can take away the juice if they find the remaining links are not relevant to the new site.

    The links will disappear over time naturally as folks update their outgoing links. Now if you leave the niche the same and write good compelling content the links might stay.

    I was talking about Dropped Domain and not about transfer.
    Google normally resets value if the page on domain is changed with the ownership, even you have 0 outbounds they are going to reset it.
