Do DP users pay with Google Checkout vs. Paypal?

I don't mind Paypal, it just concerns me that all my money goes through Paypal and that there is no other choice in payment processors. I am thinking of offering Google Checkout and offering a 5% discount to my customers that use it and seeing what happens. Has anyone here ever tried using their own merchant account? Has that worked well for anyone?

I prefer PayPal over GC as GC is not available in most of the countries.

 

leandar - that is exactly what I am trying to avoid - I never want to be at that level where I have that much money passing through paypal - it is not good business sense ... I am thinking of building an authorize.net interface and just doing my own transactions through my own site ... I offered both options to a buyer today and guess what? They chose Google Checkout!
