Do DP ban Scammer or the mod/admin don't care?
I'm not here too long to see this and I just can't find any rule about scamming and how DP deal with them so i ask this question.
Well i know a scammer running around freely here at DP. I don't know if other people have reported him or not but he's a scammer, though he never scammed me.

If you know anything, report it to the mods with proof of your claims. In my experience, they always act quickly.

Yes DP doesn't tolerate spamming. Spammers get banned.

If there is someone who you know is a scammer, then talk to the mods.

They will most likely act if you have proof and can link to a thread on DP proving it. Just because you think someone is a scammer and don't have any proof/he has not scammed you, is not enough for the mods to ban the suspected person.

AFAIK Mods don't get involved in business matters still you may try PMing a mod and give them all the details you have about the scammer and they'll look into it

I don't find any reason why DP will not ban any scammer. After all this place is not for scammers to scam the members.

DP is very, very large to inspect each and every user that signs up.

Yes I believe DP bans the person if enough people complain about them being a scammer.

We do not get involved in private business disputes. It's each member's responsibility to take care in transactions, and you do business here at your own risk. For instance, if someone doesn't pay you, or they issue a chargeback, you need to take it up with them and the payment processor; not us. If, however, you know someone is doing something illegal here and you have real proof (like selling warez), report it and we'll look at it. You need to send the proof though - we won't likely go digging because of casual accusations.
