It probably not going to work, but it never hurts to try. Add the button see what it does. Maybe create a forum or a community somehow, that will increase your donations.

No, donations will not work. I had a website before, with approximately 40 000 unique visitors a month, and no luck with donations.

Unless you have a close community supporting you 100%, I also doubt if donations will work.

If you don't establish a one-to-one first person relationship with your visitors, they won't donate.

That's why donations work well with Steve Pavlina. He talks directly with his readers. You are just providing games, nobody knows who you are, your face, were are you from... It won't work with this model of site.

I had a donation option once. I never received any. But on the other hand my daughter did get one once. And it was a from a US service man(Army) who believed in her. And told her to go use the money to buy a server so she could start her own hosting company. She did and it brought in some nice pocket change. But that only happened once.

Try link sales because of your traffic. Or try some PPC program. And or make a blog section. And get paid to blog about others gaming sites or related info, etc.

depends on type of site in my experience, i really dont think it would work on an arcade though, unless you had alot of reg visitors and could offer them a cool incentive for donating

    Hey there,
I've used donating systems on alot of my websites, some I get a max of 5$ usd and some more, depends on how good your site is. I would put it up there because you never know.
