we try to find our link from google but most of result not come from the directories we have submitted.

there are some result from directories and our link showed in the first page result.

what are the reasons our link submitted from many directories not appear in google result?

Also, we check back link by google webmaster tool and no result from these directories.

what the heck useful point from directories?

Directory submission is not a quick way to get back links. Some directories got waiting periods of weeks or months or years to approve your site to get listed. Google takes subsequent time updating such results, keep trying and you will see these results soon.

Absolutely so thats why it is good to submit in new non spammy directories of course, rather than wait for 1 year to get into high pr ones...

very good point, kanwarjot, if you submit to new directories you'll be on top and if they get big you'll get some juice and clicks.
Whereas with established directories your link will be buried and SE's will never find it, I'm not even talking about waiting times.
Thus I'd rather submit to 100 new directories than to 20 established ones.

not really it will definitely increase your link popularity but it is not effective enough to give you back links.

They increase backlinks for my sites, obviously not every last submission that is approved will result in a backlink.

G likes to play a weird game of poker and never show you how many backlinks you really have...
If you have thousands, they will admit to knowing about 10...

Not every directory submission will result u as a backlink, there are many few directories which gives you backlink after approval. If you want to increase backlink then submit your site to quality directories whose PR in good. :)

hi.. i think directory submission helps to get backlinks.. but it all depends on whether your link is do follow or no follow. you need to check the link before submitting to the directory.

Just submit your sites to the newest, no spammy direcotries and you'll get more backlinks than if you submit to higher PR, spammy ones.

Definitely consider submitting to new directories. As some of the previous comments suggested, you'll typically feature more prominently and, fingers crossed, in time start receiving some juice from those directories.

Still nothing wrong with submitting to established directories, but wait time (for no paid for links) and actual visibility may not be ideal.

    Good luck!

Surely directory submission will increase your back links. but you need to be patient for better result. Directory submission cant provide quick result. Do prefer high PR sites to submit your site links.
