Hi all. I currently have my site hosted on one of those "Create your own website" places create.net. My traffic does not seam to get above 70 unique visits per day. It has been suggested to me that we might of reached the threshold of the visitor numbers that our current host can attract! Is there any merit in this logic as it is tempting me to move to another location like ekmpowershop. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated as I had never thought that the location of your host could affect your potential traffic exposure.
It's unlikely that the host you use will impact traffic, however a slow or oversold host will be slow and this may impact your rankings over time unless it's resolved. If your website loads at a good speed (pingdom.net has tools to check) then you should be ok. In my opinion free or very cheap hosts should be avoided.
