I understand that links from the same domain are not regarded as important anymore as it was said that 100 backlinks from the same domain are just as effective at boosting your SERP rankings as one, hench the reason side-wide links have lost a lot of value. But what about PR juice? For instance, say I have backlinks on 5 PR7 pages and 20 PR6 pages, from the same domain. Will these backlinks have a lot of weight towards my PR, or are they just as good as one PR7 link?
Good question. I too would like some answer on this. My belief is that it pass PR, but not to the same extent.
My best (logical) guess is that since PR is just a mathematical formula, all links with PR (even internal ones) pass PR. But then Google adjusts your ranking position when it realizes that many links come from the same domain. So you end up with high PR but not good rankings. This could work since you have the leverage to get good reciprocal or 3 way links since you can offer good PR.
every backlink will help you to get better ranking. if you have site wide links, the first one will help so much and the others will help you less but every link will help you
Great to hear that sitewide links still help for PR passing. Moreover, it will also help your link get more clicks from more unique visitors by SERPs. Not too bad.
Okay, but as I said I'm not interested about whether links will help me or not. I want to know how much PR juice I'm getting
