Do Commas and spaces matter in meta tags?

    Hi there.
    Do commas and spaces in Meta Tags (Keyword, other) matter for google, yahoo and other search engines or not? Like
    1. digital, point, forum,discussion, spaces, and, commas, between, every, keyword...........
    2. digital,point,forum,discussion,with,commas,but,no,space,between,keywords,......
    3. digitalpointforumdiscussionwithoutspaceandcommas..................

    I think commas do not matter for google. but no idea about yahoo, bing and others.
    and spaces matter for google. bcz keywords can be recognized. but i am not 100%sure about this.

    -> www.topceilingstampabay.com
    -> www.tampabayhardwoodflooring.com
    -> www.kitchencabinetstampabay.com

    yes, comma has separate between two keyword, as you use digital,point than it means search engine read separate here digital after point.

    Commad and spaces won't affect in your Google Strategies. I dunno what about with the other search engines Algo.

    It is better to use non breakable spaces or | signs where ever you want to create list

    Mostly you can use the commas in the keywords meta tags while updating the meta tags for the website.

    Not for rankings not at all, because google does not look at them.

    Yahoo/bing might of course. You should use spaces and commas to seperate your keywords.

    The thirtd point was correct, it will be considered as appropriate by google,but no idea for yahoo or bing!!!

    Basically you can use commas in the meta tag keywords during an update of meta tags for your website. If I have any good idea I will post, thx very much

    No, but some search engines do factor in the click though rate when it comes to ranking, so make sure your don't have spelling, grammatical mistakes or obvious spacing issues that will drive users away from clicking.
