I am not talking about incentive given by merchant. But as an affiliate can I give incentive to my visitors to buy product?
You will not offer, suggest or imply the availability of any rebates, coupons, tickets, vouchers or similar incentives to induce or encourage the purchase of a Product. https://www.clickbank.com/terms.html
Clickbank has a problem when people offer some sort of "cash" incentive, but I'm sure they don't have problems when you offer them bonuses that have no cash value at all. Affiliates/"Gurus" do it all the time when they are promoting all these internet marketing courses every month.
I have seen quite a few of those for GreenDiyEnergy for example. I have even the screenshot. The top 1-3 adwords campaigns promised 50 and 75% off of the product price. I was quite pissed at that, as certainly the users will click on them.
Yes you can. Here is what is says on clickbank website: Don’t offer bonuses of cash or cash equivalents (such as gift cards) for customers who purchase a product through your HopLink. This is not allowed in ClickBank’s Client Contract. You can, however, offer other types of bonuses, such as additional ebooks or related products, to customers who purchase through your HopLink. So you can give ebooks and other downloads as bonuses just not cash or cash equivalents. Mike http://www.clickbank.com/help/affiliate-help/affiliate-guides/affiliate-dos-and-donts/
That's actually a good strategy. Here's a KILLER Strategy that one of my affiliates use. One affiliate wrote a little technique people could use and how to incorporate that technique when using the products.. If they buy through his link, he gives them his 2 page ebook. The bonus isn't a "master resell" crap book, but actually makes the products shine like gold. This technique not only captures more sales, but also prevents refunds. I'm surprised more affiliates aren't using this angle
You can't give out money to other people for buying stuff using your aff link. Its against the rules. You can, however give out a free e-book, audio, video course. That's alright, as a few people above have already mentioned.
I just wanted to add that as a long-time Clickbank affiliate I know from experience that Clickbank themselves don't do anything regarding incentive offers. They simply don't care because they get the money! On the other hand, I have had a few merchants contacting me and asking me to stop offering incentives. What's important here is that no merchant will report you to Clickbank or 'ban you' from selling their product because they actually do want you to continue promoting them - just a little bit differently. It's a whole different story compared to CPA networks and there's not much to be worried about as everything can be negotiated.
