    hi guyz,
i am promoting few offers where my publisher has an option for visitors to sign up for free email course. Later on when these visitors who have signed up for free email decide to buy the product, do i get credited for that sale?

I think it depends on the publisher, but normally you wouldn't.....I'm not 100% sure, though.

    Yeah I doubt it.

But calling all publishers out there, it would be a great bonus incentive to promote your products!

It depends. Sometimes they will simply do a mailing of the product you already sent them to without their hoplink. So maybe they didn't buy then and this mailing convinced them, if your hoplink was used by them last you get the sale.

More often than not though they will either put their own hoplink in their mailings or will use their list for another product of theirs or another product in the same niche with their hoplink (or maybe even a product of theirs that is a direct paypal link etc).

All in all though I don't think you lose much, most people that they would convert probably have navigated away and weren't going to buy at that time through your hoplink anyways.

I don't know about that, but it's certainly a great way to lose affiliates!

Probably. Clickbank cookies are for the last refferring affiliate and last 60 days (not sure). So If the publisher doesn't use an affiliate link you should get the credit. You could use your hoplink to set the cookie then sign up for the newsletter and revisit the site from the link in the newsletter to check if it's still your cookie on the order page.
