hi been reading the recent posts, and I am impressed with cj, and the help within this forum. i have a question - I am in the UK, and have been working on getting a website up and ready based on an idea (not smutty, not gambly would you believe), and I think there is lot off potential in it, so much so that I have even incorporated a private limited company with myself and partner as directors to use to operate the site with. however is it better to register with CJ as an individual, or on behalf of the company, currently I personally own the domain .co.uk/.coms but the company owns the .ltd.uk, .plc.uk. I guess I am keen to see the pros and cons rather than which is better as that will depend on your circumstances anyway thanks in advance and thanks for the interesting reading mark
CJ doesn't care either way. However, all of our CJ accounts are established corporations and it helps at our end for tax purposes.
Thanks DW - rep given. I guess I thought the terms of service looked pretty heavyweight for an individual to sign to - I wondered whether on balance more people did this becuase they were running their site as a business rather than a few individuals trying to monetize there site a bit more.
If you are doing it for a business then I would sign up on CJ as that business. While you can be the contact name on the account for tax purposes and otherwise I would stick to being a company/corporation. Good luck!
