Blog commenting can be a big waste of time. Even if you have no intention of spamming, your comment can be thrashed to the spam bin of the blog owner. That could happen because of IP address or other factors beyond your control.
I personally do not believe in only on method. I use all methods for promotion every week. As per blog comments I can build 20 back links form do follow blog comments sources.
Dofollow links useful.According to the program should set the site daily. Example: Your site is new(1,2,3,4,5,6 monthly): You add to 5-10 backlink per a day. If your site is older than 1 year: You add to 10+ backlink per a day. I'm working in this way. I suggest to you too.
Majority of blogs have nofollow enabled for commentator's link and thus give you little if any PR juice. However, if your comments are insightful and is done within your niche, you will get some traffic from those blog comments.
If you're visiting quality Blogs and are commenting, I don't think it would hurt. Backlinks from blogs are just one piece of the larger picture for SEO. Also, as mentioned before, if your comment is helpful you might just receive some clickthroughs.
Well, i tried to get back links from blog comments during last 3 days. I had put 12 comments in 10 different blogs. But i've not yet gotten any back link. I didn't spam and wrote only smart comments. However, blog owners don't like my comments. Maybe they have their summer vacations and they're not been working on their blogs. Maybe they see my ecommercial site and they remove my comments out. I'd like to hear your thoughts please.
I've not kept my comments. I simple read articles and i put my ones. I never write any comments if i'm unable to say something about the topic. http://www.ornaments.com/blog/ http://becomeaffiliatemarketer.com/...mous-festival-of-the-christians-in-world-wide http://www.howtoinvesttoday.com/2010/06/06/why-are-collectible-coins-a-good-investment/ and others.
