There are many different ways to advertise your website. However, I have found that the three most effective ways are 1)ppc 2)ezine advertising 3)article marketing Focus on these and you will get people who will buy your products.
No they still work well. I worked for a telemarketing online business directory and I closed a $20,000 deal for a banner ad at the top of the page. The company paid $20k for this. Banners will always stay. Theres just different forms of advertising now but traditional advertising will never die.
I think banners still work quite well, well designed, blending in, relevant and one thats not flashing in your face about to cause a seizure, i see some beautiful looking banners, believe me, and i do click on them.
u find a relevant company doing relevant marketing on your page. traffic will be good and highly targeted
for me, they work work at all anymore. I think visitors have nearly complete blindness to them, I can't remember the last time a banner got clicked on my site. Text links are working better than ever though.
I think they work if they are eye-catching, related to content and there must be something that will make people want to see the site of that banner.
In some situations, yes. In others, no. I've run a few banner campaigns on other sites and the results were not very good. However, if the banner is designed well and the audience is targeted, then there is not reason why they can not work just as well as PPC.
