I can't seem to find any decent knowledge as to whether or not Google counts multiple backlinks coming from the same page to various pages of the same domain. E.G. Say I have written a single blog post that I want to create 3 backlinks on. All 3 of the backlinks will point to my money site but each backlink will point to a different page within my money site, do they count as 3 seperate links or just 1 link? i.e. the 3 backlinks: 1. mymoneysite.com 2. mymoneysite.com/info 3. mymoneysite.com/tips So those are my 3 backlinks, all of them placed on the same single blog post I have written and each of the 3 links has varying anchor text, would all 3 links count or would google count only say the first link and dismiss the rest as they are essentially all pointing to the same domain but on varying inner-pages? Thanks
Obviously they will be counted as 3 links. But ya, having 3 backlinks coming from different domains is far better than 3 coming for the same domain.
Every dofollow backlinks counts. And the effect is vary (low) from the backlinks from the unique pages. Google will also consider the quality of the content, relevance to the linked page/site. So, always try to create original and unique content which is relevant to your site's category (And also try to get backlinks from the relevant websites).
All three links count. All you're doing is splitting (3 ways) the link equity you would get from one link to a page onto three pages instead.
How to check how many backlink I have on my page? I have been creating backlink for my site, almost 2 weeks, but I can't see them in backlinkwatch. Please advice. My site is car-insurancesingapore.com
If you go to google webmasters and click on the site that you registered with google, you should be able to see the back links of your site
Thanks Harga, thats the answer I was looking for, so all 3 back links count even though they are all essentially to the same route domain.
