I want to know if those who have an autoblog are really makng good money from ppc. Could you share which one you are using? Please share your site!
As far as I know it can work but don't use adsense because they will disable your account It can work with some older domains that have backlinks. It needs to appear natural. Sure if you set up an autoblog and it looks like a machine running they will see the footprint. It needs to be random posts and look like a person is blogging. There are people autoblogging and getting results. Also if you have a bunch of sites they need to be on different IP addresses. So it's somewhat complicated.
Content is king. If you've got weak content, you're not going to make a huge amount of money. Autoblogging will typically only get you fake content. It's not worth it.
AutoBlogs can work, but a few things need to be taken into consideration: SEO isn't automatic. You need some good backlinks to your blog Unique content is king. Your can still be listed if you use a unique theme (Google considers it different because of the coding), but it helps to throw in a few original posts as well. You have to remember you might not be the only one hijacking the rss feed If you're gonna use adsense, wait at least until they pay you before activating an autoblog (most people get banned right before first payment). In the meantime, build up some backlinks and make some legit posts (even if you have to re-write others' blog posts). Most people who run autoblogs own like 30-50 of them. Why? Because they will likely make about $1 a day. The other thing you have to remember is adsense is not the only way to monetize an autoblog. You can have banners that link to affiliate programs, CPA programs, or just choose another PPC program and don't worry about Google (though your earnings could be less). @Onguardia - I believe the IP issue only applies if you are using the exact same content on two different sites. Just use different RSS feeds (though you'd still get screwed if you use shared hosting and someone else is using the same feed). EDIT: It requires a lot of work just like anything else. I personally believe there are more useful things you can do with your time. Hint: Some people pay like $30+ for autoblogs. Check out Flippa and the BHW marketplace. If you can practice setting up good ones on all kinds of different niches fast, you could make a decent amount of money freelancing. They aren't that hard to create, its just the maintenance that can be a pain.
we need to think about footprints and not to leave them. Various opinions out there on weather to spread out your site on differnet IP addresses. Well we can all agree that footprints are what they (search engines) are looking for to foil your plans and shut you down. Not using different IP addresses to spread out your sites helps them say you are doing something with all your sites as a group.
Sooner or later autoblogs will be banned for duplicate content. To answer your question, yes they can be used to make money.
