I have been thinking about setting up an astore, but do they make any real money? What is the best way to promote one?

In my opinion, for some products, but definitely not for higher end stuff like Jewelry, Watches, and Home Entertainment, and so on...

Yes , It still work for make sale.

aStore should be have the Niche Keyword/product.
If you have the large website network, it very easy to promote.

You can make money. If you consider a few bucks a month is actually worth all that time and effort to drive traffic to it.

If you want to pay less and get more, aStore is a best way.

I still say a stand alone aStore, without a blog or website to bring traffic to it, is a long hard road that is not worth the time and effort.
aStore is best used as a store or shop for an existing site, and even then it's limited.

    It works...
But you need to have a good visitors base and mention the products of your astore often. Not good for high-end products but can make some money for more "everyday" use products.

100% Sure! it can make money for me. you have to find niche market first then promote. after that traffic will come from Search Engine.

see the way to make more money from aStore in my signature.

I create my astores for a specific niche. I have one for western stuff and family/home stuff for my personal blog, I have a photography one, and then I have a blogging one that includes blogging books, software, etc. I do well with all of them.
