so i got a unique 1000+ word article written about "url redirects". heres the actual article link > http://ly2.com/why.html so should this help me in ranking/serps? i think it should, or am i wrong?
you'd probably get more benefit by putting the article on other sites and getting them to link to you, rinse and repeat over and over and over again.
thats a good idea. do you think an article abount url redirects has a place tho? i mean, who wants an article about url redirects on their site ya know. =\
any article has a place - url redirects is something I'm looking into for another site, so it'll be interesting to me. Try submitting to article sites (search the forum for a list somewhere!)
well i had the article written just for my site, so it has alot of plugs for my site within the article, will that be a problem you think? i mean its a good article and all, just it plugs my url every so often. =X heres the link again> http://ly2.com/why.html whatcha think?
If it has more than 2 links in the article then to me, its getting spammy. Doesn't mean everyone will think that though
It seems that your really advertising your site in that article. I find it spammy seeing the same url for more than 2 times. Good luck...
Yep, it would be helpful, always if your links are correct, content doesnt position itself. good work
It might be worth doing a re-written version that talks about URL redirection in general and then has phrases along the lines of "URL redirection services like www.yourdomain.com" IE "Services like www.yourdomain.com will give you all of the benefits you need from a URL redirect service such as:" Get me? You could submit the article as is to article directories but you may have problem getting sites to re-print the article as is.
Depending on the article submission site you may even be able to just write a general article without mentioning your specific site but instead embed a logo from your site like this article does: http://www.articlecodex.com/Articles/Business/Finance/Settle-your-debts-the-easy-way-109.htm
