According to google's new policy (caffeine) what will be key factors for getting a site ranked in top by google. Do anybody have any idea? Any help will be appreciated.
Gabrialle just focus on getting links. Make sure your website is optimized properly. When I build links I build quality first, then I build quanity. Right now Run of Site links are working great for me.
Whatever was important before is still relevant, like unique quality frequently changing content, inbound links from quality websites, correctly designed pages (titles, meta tags, alt tags) and correct internal website linking. In addition the website speed will play important role in ranking. Also social networking. Try getting your visitors involved, share your content on Twitter and let other to respond and link back.
Google webmaster tools now has website speed data with sample of your pages and some suggestions. As well there you can download FF plug-in for website speed test.
I don't think the Caffine update will deviate much from their current algorithm and how Google ranks sites. The same things will be important (content, links, high quality links, on-site optimization, internal link structure, etc.). However, one thing that will change soon in the ranking algorithm is website page speed. If 2 sites are the exact same the one that loads the fastest will rank the highest. Speed is becoming very important to Google.
About fast page loading. I think if you make your website or blog passed http://validator.w3.org/, that's it.
# Social Media profiles will play significant role in link building campaign # Unique content is again much helpful # Domain age is not really matter a lot after this update
Content is the key. Title, inbound links directly to your own blog/site (internal links within the artilcles) A Good and well arranged blog/site with less widgets/graphics, and the time taken to load your pages.
