Do any one why my Photoshop CS4 don't have filter extract?

    Hi every one,

    I am learning how to cut some of unwant background from my pictures.
    Once I try to extract it by go to filter => extract.

    But it did not have in my Photoshop CS4. Why?

    try to magic wand tool .............. when u select any color location its delete fully ..........

    is it grey out or not showing? for the latter, re install the photoshop, might be the filter files got corrupted.
