I used to take traditional Okinawan Karate for a couple years and then stopped. Did anyone else have their parents get ripped off for your martial arts lessons?
acquired yellow belt back in erly 90's later had to quit as our master was vry strict & used to beat us up for slightest of mistakes & wrong moves . nw i regret my decision
I have been doing taekwondo for 5 years now. Also i am starting tricking, if you dont know what it is look it up its insanely awesome, its not really martial arts, but incorporates it.
Hate to revive old topics, but I just had to post Been doing Karate: for 4 years. Quit for two years, now I'm back (about 2 months) Kick Boxing/Muay Thai: 2-3 Months VERY little Tai Chi: spometimes incorporated into the karate
Ive done loads of martial arts. I started shotokan karate, then to tae kwon do i did ITF an WTF styles, ju jitsu, BJJ, a few kung fu styles then boxing, muay thai. Ive done a few others for smaller periods that i dont mention. For effectiveness of stand up arts cant beat muay thai and for floor BJJ.
Took a year of Judo way back in middle school. Wouldn't say that I 'know a martial art' anymore though hehe.
