Do Any Of those Paid Traffic Sites Work? Anyone made sales with them?

    Hey all,

I was looking around at some of those paid traffic websites, you know, the ones that offer like 10k visitors a month for like $150.

I tried one of those way back when i was a newbie, and got burned. All of the traffic was like...bots. Nobody even clicked on an affiliate link, not one click out of the 500 that i paid for. Luckily i only spent like $25 to test it out.

However, I do see some of these paid traffic sites that look like they may provide actual real people, from redirects and pop unders. The Clickbank product I want to promote using this type of traffic is an Adult related product, and a few of those paid traffic sites that "appear" to be legit do actually offer targeted adult traffic, using redirects, pop unders, and 404 error pages.

I know that this kind of traffic, even though its adult targeted, is not very reliable because the leads are going to your site without really wanting to in the first place. BUT...it is adult traffic, and i have an adult product, so i figure i might be able to land a few sales because I might have the kind of product they are looking for after all.

My question is has anyone ever had any luck with this type of traffic, and if so, which websites would you recommend that i purchase bulk traffic from

The one i am looking at offers like 10,000 hits per month for only $169. The clickbank product i am promoting pays $33 per sale with a possible $120 comission by upsell (which happens about 1 out of 8 sales), and i figure shit..if i can just get 10 sales out of 10,000 hits i can double up on my money. My landing page converts to sales at about 1:100 using video advertisments on various video sites, so i figure I might have a good chance to make some decent profit...even if I only get 10 sales per 10k, i can buy like 100k and make alot more.

So any suggestions? Anyone had any luck with these kinda traffic sites before?

I figure $169 isnt much to lose just to see if i can make some good profit using this kinda traffic.

I can guarantee you wont make any sales. That traffic is always pure crap. If it was valuable in any way it would not be sold so cheaply.

so they all suck then. damn.

i wonder how those sites even stay in business........wait nevermind lol i know.

What about buying email lists/email blasts. are they all just crap too? I never tried one of those, jus heard lots of crap about them.

God this brings back memories when i first started doing IM and getting burned left and right by advertising schemes like that.

I guess i always hoped one of them would be legit. it would be so fucking cool if it was really that easy.

Paid traffic is almost always bots. These sites stay in business by convincing people like you that you will get real traffic (and from your first post, looks like their advertising methods are working ;) )

they only burned me once awhile back for $25, but i admit they got me. But still, there has to be atleast one site that delivers actual people. Even if these people are just being redirected to your site after clicking on a link that they thought would take them somewhere else, or if its a pop under ad...but at such a large volume of adult traffic...if it was in fact real people, you'd think maybe i could make a few sales.

honestly IDK its still tempting to try one of these sites out, after carefully reviewing all of them. Im making enough money now to test a few of them. I could spend $50 testing 3 of the most legit looking ones and if one of them is actual people as traffic, then ive possible got something good.

Im just at a stalemate right now with getting traffic to my adult product site. Ive kinda maxed out with all my regular free traffic sources like video ad's and such. just looking for more ways to get traffic.

And...since everyone says that "almost all of them are scams" theres still that word...almost..which means it could be possible that maybe one of them is legit. Someone's gotta break down and spend a little money to test and review them...might as well be me since im the one who's curious. I figure i'll just buy the lowest amount of traffic allowed from each site just (like idk...1000 clicks for $25) to run a test with each one.

Idc if i lose a little money, atleast i'll know for sure that its not a profitable option.

And i gotta ask again, has anyone had any luck with buying those bulk email blasts/ mailing lists?

If the website was delivering "actual people" (specifically English speaking people with the ability to buy something online), it would cost a heck of a lot more per visitor than what they charge.

You want to spend $25 for a bunch of clicks? Just make some low bids on the Google Content Network (in Adwords). At least then your traffic has a chance of generating a sale or two.

if it is bot traffic then it is unlikely to make any sales, however if the it traffic exchange then you will not make sales however you can increase the list size. if you have a good offer, however from my experience list building from traffic exchange is most likely to be junk

hope this helps, but I encorage you to try
