Some may say yes and some may say no but the evidence is building up daily all around us that points to us not being alone. But if they do exist why haven’t they contacted us already. So are they a figment of our imagination or are we really being visited by beings from far off distant planets. I personally think it would be marvellous if such facts were true, but I also believe they would take one look at our planet and the problems going on around it and decide to look elsewhere for a civilised world. I know a few astronomers and scientists and they came to the conclusion that they do not know of any aliens existing. It's always good for a bit of hype though, that's for sure! Col
What evidence? building up all around us? Where? I hardly doubt there are aliens...if so, why haven't we seen one or have one??
They might deny so people won't think there crazy, but I bet deep down in there hearts they know it... They exist.
Aliens probably wont be higher intellectual beings. They will probably just be bugs, and they wont be able to make contact. Just because they are aliens doesnt mean they will be as advanced as us. If there was a elephant type creature living on the moon, how the hell would it make contact with us?
If you look at the sky at night, every star is equivalent to our sun. Revolving around our Sun are the planets. Our planet is inhabitted by us. IMHO we have to be very arrogant and self centered to believe that our planet is the only planet in the whole of the solar system that is inhabitted. There are millions of stars, times that by 10 or so planets around each star - there have to be other planets that are inhabitted and there is no way that we can be the only ones capable to space travel.
Haha maybe not elephants but probably just a bunch of microbes. If you believe in science (big bang and all) there definitely are some creatures out there in space. Better start learning the alien language

Whatever movies tell us about Aliens, I think that Aliens look just like us. I think there might another human race somewhere lost in space.
Well some things here are partially true. There are 500 000 billion stars in our galaxy (this mean 5x10^14) and proximately 500 million billion galaxies in the universe (5X10^17) so if only 0.001% of stars have planets this mean 2.5x10^27 stars with planets. If that planets are 10 (as is in our solar system) and only 0.001% from this planets are capable of sustaining life this mean (2.5x10^23) planets. If only 0.001% of that planets have life - that make 2.5x10^18 planets with life (and believe me - that are more planets than we have sand on all the beaches on earth. So – that’s the results. We must be very stupid to think we are alone in that vast universe. The other problem is will we see real alien in our life – I cant say we will – but everything is possible.
The drake's equation (which the above post is) conclusion is never impressive. If you wish to prove the possibility of existence through a math equation; you should at least pick one where every single variable isn't a number you make up on the spot depending on your mood.
