www.printmypics.net is digital photo printing comparison and review site running
affiliate programs through Commission Junction, LinkShare and Buy.com

I'm the new owner and wondering how viable this really is. If nothing else, I've learned a great deal from all the knowledgeable people here!

Any feedback on the site is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I think a lot of people use affiliate programs and those that sell are able to make a lot of cash, and it's profitable for the company because they get leads and sales that they would otherwise not have made..so they're happy to pay out a commission on a sale that may not have taken place without their help.

Personally I don't do affiliates because I'm not comfortable with them (knowledge wise, branding wise, etc). It should be beneficial for you if your selling something, but becareful because there are people who like to use spam to entice people to buy the product and that could give your company a bad name because your product/company gets added to spam filters.

Sometimes, not all affliated sites are good to work with. If you do one successful affliate with a site that gives them out and they pay you a decent amount for the time you put in, I would stick with that one ;)

Basically its selling and you need to be knowledgeable about what you're selling as unless you are just re-directing leads you will be seen as the supplier. For minimal outlay these are good opportunities for getting up and running and a springboard to move onto bigger and better things.

Sell what you know is the real thing and not just another e-book that has information you could easily find on Google

I think it depends on which affiliate site you use. I have never heard of that one, but I use a few of them and they work. I have gotten checks and Paypal payments from them.
