Sounds good so far. But what about people living outside the US, because most progams and thier products target US and sometimes Canada? I have a website already but it is aimed for vistors who are NOT interested in products that sell good only in US.
I build sites that target specific countries usually and find it works fairly well if you find the right affiliate programs to work with. If I can't find a good program, then I dropship products myself.
I personally know people who earned more that $1 mil being affiliates. There money to be made in this biz, but you have to work to earn them
Jeremy Palmer is called the million dollar man, and there are many people who make a lot of money promoting only affiliate programs.. Today, there's a lot of competition. I am not rich (in terms of money, but for me being rich is not about money, it's about your lifestyle...), not millionaire, but I found an ingenious way to earn more from affiliate programs.
Hi, I have been with GDI (Global Domains International) for approx 3months now, it took a bit of work learning everything, but i can defiantly see how people get rich off affiliate marketing, its Worldwide also. check it out if ya like optus.ws
Can someone ban the spammer that is gosiebump with his pyramid scheme. It's one thing getting forum spam but PM spam? Come on, amateur stuff.
Most of my sites are targeted at Thais and expats living in Thailand, so I don't make much from most affiliate programs (as they tend to target a US audience). That being said, I have found some success with hotel affiliate programs. I'm also experimenting with sites that are looking for unique visitors from all over the world. And so far so good. They are bringing in a constant stream of cash, but not enough to get rich off of. About $120 per day actually (check my sig for details)
You will never get rich but you will make a living Hard work + creativity = targeted traffic + good conversion programmes = $ / £ / € They are the key issues indeed And NEVER give up
Affiliate marketing has a lot of scams endmic to the industry and a lot of people scams others knowingly or unknowingly. If you are sure that the product delivers then its great. I am personally allergic to those people who says you can make $$$$ in a month because money could not be made that fast and that's why we value it so much.
That is why we only promote sites that have been clockwork providers and payers for many years. That way, we know that the customers are getting what they pay for and we get paid too. The program in our signature is an example of an established site (since 2001) and an established affiliate program (since 2002)
Not making a fortune here but at least it's not a scam. Hope to make more in the future. Here's some images from my CJ account: I built an ebay affiliate website with CJ and adsense streams and it's done pretty good. Pretty cool site and I'm selling copies of the script if anyone is interested. pm for details.
i have promoted for an affiliate program and had 2k/days profit during peak retail seasons (thanksgiving, christmas, summer). also the affiliate program i run now we pay a couple affiliates out good amounts of money so it all depends on your niche and as usual the traffic you're generating and how much that is costing you. if you can get everything right as far as costs and tracking sales then it's easy to maximize profits.
Some good advice if you want to make real money is to move outside the internet marketing niche and it is a little easier. A lot of the "older" marketing tactics that don't work anymore in the jaded IM niche still work well in other areas.
Been doing this for a few months now...made a little bit of money...plan to make more...I see the potential to get rich at doing this...way too many markets one can tap into online...but be careful also...I see the potential to lose a lot of money if you dont continuosly educate your self(like I need to on my spelling.lol)...good luck to all...I'll see you at the top!
Affiliate programs can make you rich but in my opinion, it most likely will not. Most people who sign up with affiliate programs and try to make money through links, end up just quitting after trying everything and not making any sales after the first two weeks. Yeah, you can get rich off of Affiliate programs but only if you spend a lot of time learning how to work the system and spend your time effectively.
Yeah, it will, there are ShoeMoney, Paul *Uberaffiliate, Jonathan Volt etc. and many many more smaller guys but still earning more than 10k per month...
