Do AFFILIATE programs really make you rich

do alot of people actually get rich from useing affilaite programs. i have just started this and want to pursue a career first by starting out using affiliate programs to make enough money to maybe make my own ebook and/or sell my own products online

 

If you make own affiliate product you can get rich but it has to be something new and worth while. Marketing affiliate links yes you can make money and alot of it. I would tell anyone to promote affiliate links over adsense any day any time. If you find some good programs for your topic you will make alot more money off affiliate links or programs over adsense.

 

i bought the whole ultimate wealth package online and i have a website they gave me, but would it be smarter for me to spend money on a host and domain for my own personal website for affiliate programs and adsense.

 

if i could convert 3% of my clicks into sales, yes id be rich..

but getting traffic that converts is key and HARD

 

If you want the truth then yes they can make you enough money to live on, but you have to work with them. It's not something that most people do where you start with them and expect to learn it all and earn from it and become rich in under a month or so.

That's why so many affiliates fail because they think it's much easier than what it is. The amount of times you go up to someone and say that you work on the internet, and they suddenly think you must be loaded. It's not that easy, but if you stick at it you will learn as you go alone and yes you can live of it as many are doing this already and some people have become millionaires from using affiliate marketing.

Yes, you can become rich, but it takes a LOT of hard work. Mostly, it is becoming intimately involved in how to 1) drive traffic to your site and 2) convert that traffic into sales. There are plenty of people online doing this successfully.

for example i'm far to be rich but with my sites and the right program (check my sig) i'm making X,XXX of net profit each month... i couldn't live of it but it's a nice extra...

I don't know about 'best' to have your own website, but it is one avenue. Search engines like googles will pick it up from links on other webpages. Don't pay for the services that claim to submit your website to a million search engines.

 

why do they not actually do it at all

 

You could start out with a blog on blogspot and test the waters. Then once you learn more and get a better understanding of what you want to do exactly, get a domain and web host.

 

They can make your rich - but it isn't easy.
