    Hi,
I want to know whether networks allow their affiliates to post links on forums. I don't mean the actual affiliate link but the site that has the affiliate offer?

Depends on the affiliate network. Read their rules or contact them. Anyway, I recommend...first get in action and then if you make a mistake apologize :) Don't wait for permission :)

Yes, it depends on the affiliate. Most are more than happy to have their name put out there. They're interested in the sale, so if you can send a customer their way, that much the better.

seo.com, dp, and a few others will allow affiliate links in the sig.

Don't forget places like Squidoo too!

affiliate links are common place in forum signatures. i couldn't see why any affiliate program would not allow you to advertise there link.

Its nice that your asking, some brands may worry about how you are promoting them. if your putting it in your signature or adding to a conversation. Then yes thats fine. it works great for Pingo to target ethnic community sites.

but if your signing up to 100's of forums and just posting affiliate links as your first post. it has a negative effect on your account and the affiliates that your promoting.
