    Hello,

I have a health website with male enhancement products as niche. I like to promote male enhancement products as my site. However, after placing some affiliate links on the top of my site, its page rank become PR0.

How do I get my page rank back (used to be PR2)?
Should I remove all affiliate links from the homepage?

    My site is www.zhealthshop.com

    Can anyone please help me?

    Thanks very much!

If you are putting affiliate links, you should use nofollow. Normally affiliates would use javascript code for banners.

are you sure its the affiliate links that dropped your PR? did you check your backlinks and see you lost any good PR backlinks?

also, dont get too much focused on PR which dont have direct impact on your site traffic or serp ranking. work on your ranking nad backlinks which is important and PR will follow sooner or later

I totally agree with sultanofseo. You should not really focus on PR and there is a huge chance that you lost the PR because some backlinks or trades you did in the past have been deleted. It is very common and you should check the back links that you gained towards your site on a monthly basis (talking about link exchanges mainly).
Officially PR should not drop because you promote male enhancers but I do think that it sometimes happens in a very strange way. It did happen to me in the past when working with a friend on something similar. I can tell you that we simply continued working and traffic grew, we got higher rankings and then we did get PR back

    jennypretty,

Since everybody else answered your question. I have a question for you.

Do you care more about PR or Money?

Well…. Most of my friends have answered your questionJ but still….I don’t think it should affect your page rank as long as the site being linked to and is not following shady seo practices because it's just another link in the search engine’s eyes and therefore shouldn't make a difference whether you have an affiliate link or not. Just ensure that you are linking out to someone relevant and who is doing everything right.

If you are not sure you could always "nofollow" the affiliate link and be safe since search engines would ignore those links;)
