    I have a simple question. Do adsense penalize some clicks for an accidental click?

    I don't think so. You should always mail Google about your accidental clicks, and they may be taken away from you, but there is no other penalty for it. Unless, of course, you do it too much, then the penalty is having your AdSense account banned....

    I'm sure they probably do - any clicks that originate from your IP address, or any other IP address from which you have accessed Google services, are probably cancelled out.

    I have accidentally clicked once or twice. The first time I emailed them, they said 'dont do it again', but they didn't take away the click.
    The second, the click was removed, no questions from adsense, and I didn't message them.
    I think you just have to be careful, and try your best not to click, but accidents do happen...

    They penalise accidental clicks in two ways. First they will just deduct the click and reimburse the advertiser; secondly, if it happens quite a few times, especially in a short time frame, they will realise its not accidental, rather its click fraud, in which case they will just either send a threatening letter or even ban outright.

    try you best not to do any accidental clicks because once they ban you that's it. Chances are you'll never get your account back again.

    As long as you're not accidentally clicking your ads everyday multiple times you'll be okay. I think normally accidentally clicking your ads might happen once a month, depending on how often you visit your own site. I know I've had problems when I click on a firefox window, and I've accidentally clicked an ad because the ad takes up more space then the text it shows so I didn't see it.

    Example below:

    No!!! Google won't ban you unless you have clicked at least 3 clicks per month.

    if you only clicked 1-2 times and you have accessed your account from that IP before clicking than it will not be counted. you're not going to be banned for a couple clicks

    LOL. That almost sounds like a fact. I don't think you should be giving advice on something like this and making its sound like its fact. You may otherwise get people clikcng on their ads 2 times a month deliberately. :D

    I suspect it depends on your volume. If you're making $1000 month on Adsense and have one accidental 10 cent click I doubt they will take action. If your site only makes $1/week then they will notice accidental/fraud clicks.

    try to avoid it as much as possible. Best way to avoid accidently clicking ads on your site is you block your ads appearing on your site by using adblock (firefox extension)

    even if you click accidentally report it to google immediately. If they catch you, you might be banned.

    ..:: peace ::..

    I think GOOGLE can find out the clicks. If accidentally it happens once in a while, then we may get exemption orelse get BANNED.
