    Yes, after some time, in most of the cases.
    There is only one way to get out: leave the old content on the old urls and regularly update the content on the old topic.

    When a domain DNS will be deleted at the time of Google comes to cache that site, PR will be dropped and will be back after next Google's cache;
    All dropped domains, don't loss its PR. If domain DNS doesn't exist for few days, it will be.

    Ya PR will fall. But you can do the SEO process again and gain results.
