Its total rubbish to be honest. It values websites based on 3rd party data - PR/Alexa/Backlinks/Indexed pages. A sites revenue, content and potential are what counts IMO.
It works accurately for my sites, but it wouldn't be accurate for all sites. The revenue is what gives a website value, and they don't account for revenue in their calculations.
