    Hi,

Let's say I buy 2 hosting package from 2 different hosting company.

    DNS server for Company A:
    NS1.A.COM
    NS2.A.COM

    DNS server for Company B:
    NS1.B.COM
    NS2.B.COM

Can I point the DNS of a domain name to Company A & Company B at the same time? Meaning that, if Company A's server down, i still have Company B.

    Please advice!!! Thanks

Yes you can. You need to put the order of preference. However, if company a servers are down but there nameservers are working, the user won't get sent to company b. And if the nameserver is down then it may be cached (probably will be) so you will still get company a server with an error page.
